I'm a former Army Captain who served as an attack helicopter pilot, current corporate medical sales representative, and an Asian American who grew up with a combination of both an Eastern and Western mentality. I rarely see things in life as black and white, but instead see the beauty in the silver linings and gray areas in between. 

It was a tough dichotomy growing up embracing my Eastern roots while living in a very Western-minded America. I didn't fully understand where I fit in, and because of that, I focused on achievements in either my schooling or professional life. I never really stopped pushing forward in areas of my life, which meant I sometimes forgot to enjoy my journey or appreciate where I was. 

In early 2016, I lost my father, my role model and cheerleader, and a huge part of my world. This shook up my core, and caused me to shut down. In a way, I dissociated from life, lived on protective autopilot, and it was all a blur from there. By late 2017, I found myself deployed to Afghanistan. As I paused to look and take in everything that led me to where I stood, I noticed that everyone around me was also in search of their meaning. On top of that, I experienced my first bout of anxiety. With no real outlet or way to cope while in a combat zone, I realized something needed to change once I arrived home, but at the time I just didn't know what. Looking back, I believe this is the first moment I really began to "wake up" to the life I was living.
 
It all started with an ex-Buddhist monk. Don't all great stories start like that? Post-deployment, I went to a healing retreat in Thailand. My holistic health counselor was a former monk who taught me basic breathing exercises to control my anxiety and stress. I wondered how in the world we didn't teach every single human this simple, yet highly effective coping mechanism. I knew then, I was on to something.

In 2020, I found my first Tony Robbins seminar, and I
*knew* I wanted to share everything I had learned in my personal development journey with others. Nothing made me happier than sharing my findings and helping others improve their lives! I instantly signed up for my life coaching certification and went to living what I learned.  I signed up for many coaching programs, attended women's retreats, healing retreats, and really dedicated to my personal development. Then I found active breathwork, and the profound shifts I felt in single sessions were unbelievable, and so life changing. From there, I knew I wanted to truly unlock the person I am meant to be and to embody living that before I shared my findings with others.
 
I mean it when I say that your breakthrough is my purpose. Nothing over the years has ever fulfilled me as much as helping others reach their goals, or just lifting someone else up when they are down. I found that my fulfillment is in aiding others, and I am beyond thrilled to share with you the things I have learned over the years.
